Lindsey Harrison never envisioned working in the bioscience sector. But it wasn’t that aspect of her job that drew her to BioSTL.
“I have been doing work in inclusion and diversity for quite some time. In the past, it was more of an extracurricular. It just happened to be something I was interested in,” she said.
That hobby has become a full-time job. As program manager at BioSTL, Harrison places an emphasis on the local nonprofit bioscience booster’s diversity, equity and inclusion programming. She started at BioSTL in late 2018 after an eight-year stint at Dot Foods.
Early in her career, Harrison spent much of her free time playing full-contact, tackle football with the St. Louis Slam.
