Externship

The BioSTL Externship is a unique work-based learning opportunity at employer sites.  It is also an occasion for employer hosts to engage with diverse, skilled potential future talent! 

Over 55 students participated in the 2023/24 pilot cohort, with 75% from historically excluded populations.  One in three participants from this cohort said they had little or no understanding of bioscience careers before the first externship site visit! 

Please note that students will not be attending all site visits. BioSTL will assign specific site visits to each student. For detailed information on your assigned site visits, be sure to check your emails from BioSTL.
